Acceptance of Terms

By accessing the Megus Games website, downloading or playing any of our games, or using any service we provide (together, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

These Terms form a binding agreement between you and Megus Games ("Megus Games", "we", "us"). Additional rules may apply to specific games or events; where they conflict with these Terms, the game-specific rules take precedence for that game.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Services. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may only use the Services with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian, who accepts these Terms on your behalf.

Some games or features carry their own age ratings on the Google Play Store or other distribution platforms. Those ratings apply in addition to this section.

Licence to Play

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and play our games for your own non-commercial entertainment.

You may not:

• Copy, sell, rent, sublicense, or redistribute any game or part of it.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code or assets, except where that right cannot be excluded by law.
• Modify the game files, use cheats, bots, mods, emulators, or automation tools that alter normal gameplay.
• Remove or obscure any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices.

We reserve every right not expressly granted to you.

Player Conduct

We want our games and communities to be welcoming. When using the Services, you agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, impersonate, or abuse other players or our staff.
• Post content that is unlawful, hateful, sexually explicit, or otherwise harmful.
• Exploit bugs or glitches for unfair advantage rather than reporting them to us.
• Buy, sell, or trade accounts, virtual currency, or items outside the game.
• Interfere with our servers or networks, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system or another player's account.
• Use the Services for any illegal purpose or in breach of any applicable law.

We may investigate suspected breaches and take action including warnings, feature restrictions, or suspension and termination of accounts.

Accounts & Security

Some features require an account, or linking a platform account such as Google Play Games. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity that takes place under your account.

Please notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised. We are not liable for losses arising from unauthorised use of your account where that use was not caused by us.

Accounts are personal to you. You may not share, sell, or transfer your account to anyone else.

Purchases & Virtual Items

Our games may offer in-app purchases, virtual currency, virtual items (together, "Virtual Items"), and subscriptions. Subscriptions are covered in the next section. All purchases are processed by the platform you downloaded the game from — for example the Google Play Store or Apple App Store — and are subject to that platform's payment terms.

What you are buying

Virtual Items are a limited, revocable licence to use digital content inside the game. They have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for real money, and cannot be transferred outside the game. We may change, rebalance, or remove Virtual Items as part of normal game updates.

Refunds

Purchases are generally final. Refund requests are handled under the policy of the store that processed the payment. Where the law of your country gives you additional refund or cancellation rights, those rights are not affected by this section.

Subscriptions & Auto-Renewal

Some of our games offer optional subscriptions — for example ad-free play, a battle pass, a VIP tier, or a recurring bundle of virtual currency. Subscriptions are sold and billed through the app store you downloaded the game from (Google Play or the Apple App Store), not directly by us.

Automatic renewal

Subscriptions renew automatically. Unless you cancel, your subscription will renew at the end of each billing period and your payment method on file with the store will be charged the then-current price. The billing period and price are shown to you in the store's purchase screen before you confirm.

Free trials and introductory offers

Where we offer a free trial or discounted introductory period, it converts into a paid, auto-renewing subscription at the standard price when the promotional period ends, unless you cancel before then. Trials and introductory offers are generally limited to one per account, and we may withdraw or change them at any time for future subscribers.

How to cancel

You can cancel at any time through your store account settings — on Android via Google Play > Payments & subscriptions, and on iOS via Settings > your name > Subscriptions. Uninstalling the game does not cancel a subscription and does not stop billing.

After cancelling, you keep your subscription benefits until the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not provide partial or pro-rata refunds for the unused remainder of a period except where the law or the store's policy requires it.

Price and benefit changes

We may change subscription prices or the benefits included in a tier. Where a price increase affects an existing subscription, the store will notify you in advance and, where required, ask you to consent before the new price applies — if you do not accept, your subscription will not renew. Continuing your subscription after a change takes effect means you accept the new terms.

If a subscription ends

When a subscription lapses, is cancelled, or the game is discontinued, benefits tied to it — such as ad-free play, bonus currency accruals, or exclusive content — stop. Virtual Items you already received during an active subscription remain subject to the Purchases & Virtual Items section above.

If your account is terminated for breaching these Terms, any active subscription may be ended without refund, to the extent permitted by law. Cancelling billing with the store is your responsibility even in that case.

Advertising & Third Parties

Our free-to-play games are supported by advertising. We work with third-party ad networks, analytics providers, and platform services that may collect limited information such as device identifiers in order to serve and measure ads.

Ads and links may lead to third-party websites or stores. We do not control those destinations and are not responsible for their content, products, or practices. Your dealings with third parties are between you and them.

User Content

You may be able to submit content through the Services — for example feedback via our contact form, bug reports, community posts, or in-game names ("User Content"). You keep ownership of your User Content.

By submitting it, you grant Megus Games a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to use, reproduce, adapt, and display that content for the purpose of operating, promoting, and improving the Services.

You confirm that you have the rights to submit the content and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights. We may remove User Content at our discretion, particularly where it breaches the conduct rules above.

Ideas and suggestions you send us voluntarily may be used without obligation, compensation, or confidentiality.

Intellectual Property

All games, artwork, characters, audio, code, logos, and the Megus Games name are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership to you.

You may create and share non-commercial fan content such as gameplay videos, streams, screenshots, and artwork, provided you credit Megus Games, do not imply official endorsement, and do not distribute our game files or assets.

If you believe your copyright has been infringed by content on our Services, contact us with details of the work and where it appears, and we will investigate.

Privacy

We collect and handle personal information as described in our Privacy Policy. In short: we collect only what we need to run and improve our games, we do not sell personal data, and we use industry-standard measures to protect it.

Messages sent through the contact form on our website are delivered to our team by email and used solely to respond to your enquiry.

Service Availability

We aim to keep our games online and working well, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Services may be unavailable during maintenance, updates, or due to factors outside our control such as network or platform outages.

We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue any game or feature at any time. Where a game is being retired, we will give reasonable notice when we practically can.

Termination

You may stop using the Services at any time by uninstalling our games and, where applicable, deleting your account.

We may suspend or terminate your access — with notice where reasonable, and immediately where a breach is serious — if you violate these Terms, put other players at risk, or use the Services unlawfully.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law — continue to apply.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Services will be error-free, secure, or free of interruption, or that any defect will be corrected.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties. In those places, the exclusions above apply only to the extent permitted, and you may have rights that these Terms cannot limit.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Megus Games will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, goodwill, or Virtual Items, arising out of or connected with your use of the Services.

Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Services is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, or USD 50.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Megus Games and its officers, employees, and partners from any claims, damages, losses, and reasonable legal costs arising from your breach of these Terms, your User Content, or your misuse of the Services.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Megus Games is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts of that jurisdiction will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, except where mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence entitles you to bring proceedings locally.

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in full effect.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time — for example when we launch new features or when the law changes. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.

For material changes we will provide reasonable notice through our games or website. Continuing to use the Services after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
